INTERNSHIP AND VOLUNTEER

GLIPSS provides opportunities for graduate students and volunteers from across the world to gain practical experience at the Institute for a period of 3-6 months. Graduate students and volunteers are placed in Education and Training, Research and Publications, or Outreach departments under the supervision and guidance of senior staff.

Graduate students and volunteers actively participate in the institute’s activities and get close support and assistance from senior staff and are expected to produce reports at the end of their work in the institute.

HOW TO APPLY

An application letter should be accompanied by detailed curriculum vitae or resume, scanned transcripts/certificates, and two writing samples of not more than 1,000 words. The applicant must clearly state the intended start and end dates for the internship or volunteer, and any specific research interests to facilitate planning and right placement. Applications should be e-mailed to admin@glipss.org at least three months in advance.
